Nature: Polyacrylamide (Polyscrylamide) can be called PAM, commonly known as flocculants or coagulant; formula: + CH2-CHn, molecular weight is between4-20 million.
Features: there is a positive group (-CONH2) in polyacrylamide molecules which can be adsorptive with the suspended particles in the solution, it has strong flocculation, Therefore PAM is widely used in water treatment, as well as metallurgy, paper, petroleum, chemicals, textiles, mineral processing and other fields. PAM used for sewage treatment, has a high efficiency of removing organic compounds in water, can not be replaced by other products.Usage: Using morphology is 0.1-0.2 aqueous solution, the water’s PH should ≤7,PAM can be used for water treatment only, but also can be used in conjunction with PAC, but the two must be separated when mixing the two and you can increase the size of dosage according to respective situation.
